OpenET and the Path to Accessible Water Data

Date: Tuesday, May 5

Time: 1pm ET

Strengthening Water Resilience with Satellite-Based Evapotranspiration Data

The U.N. recently declared a “global water bankruptcy,” highlighting that water scarcity is one of the biggest challenges of our time, as water underpins food systems, ecosystems, public health, and social and political stability. One major hurdle of sustainable water management has been the lack of widely available, low-cost data on water consumption. OpenET changes this by making satellite-based data on water use widely accessible at the field scale across the contiguous United States.

In this webinar, Sara Larsen, CEO of OpenET Inc., will dive into the OpenET platform, sharing why it is needed, how it was created by a unique public-private-philanthropic partnership, and who is using it. She’ll also share what’s on the horizon for OpenET, including plans for expansion and new features.

Join us May 5 at 1pm ET to learn more about how OpenET can help transform water management.
