World Water Week 2017 addressed the theme “water and waste – reduce and reuse” from a holistic system perspective, addressing issues and challenges from all parts and countries of the word. A collaborative presentation between Xylem Inc. (Al Cho), Duke University’s Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions (Martin Doyle), the Smith School of Environment, Enterprise at the University of Oxford, and the Aspen Institute titled the Data Drought: An Assessment of Global Hydrological Monitoring Systems was featured during this event and included the release of a white paper: The Value of Water Information.
