Internet of Water Roundtable: California

The Aspen Institute and Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions are hosting a series of roundtable events in different geographic regions and with different sectors to explore what the Internet of Water means to them. These invite-only events include 20-30 people engaging in a moderated discussion. The California roundtable focused on the regulatory framework for opening and sharing water data with the passing of the Open Water Data and Transparency Act (AB 1755) and the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA). An addendum will be added to the original Internet of Water report once all roundtable events are completed.
